Sharpless 126 (Sh2-126) is an emission nebula found in the constellation Lacerta. The source of its ionization is the intense ultraviolet radiation of the star 10 Lacertae.
As part of this nebula we find several objects included in the LBN (Lynds' Catalogue of Bright Nebulae) LBN 437, 438 and 448 catalog are the most outstanding in the image, although they are not the only ones, within this molecular cloud, its densest part is associated with some est bright young rellas,
This region with its weak misty filaments is part of Lacerta OB1, a huge star-forming region and is located just 1200 light-years from Earth.
