IC 1848 The Soul Nebula
IC 1848, also known as The Soul Nebula, is an emission nebula located in the constellation of Cassiopeia, the ancient queen of Ethiopia. Also known as W5, the nebula is made up of several open star clusters.
Both the Soul Nebula and the Heart Nebula are truly massive star factories, since star dust accumulates in them forming new stars.
This is the result of the combination of images obtained with the H-Alpha OIII and RGB filters.
