M63 Sunflower Galaxy
M63, also known as the Sunflower Galaxy, is a galaxy that has very segmented spiral arms, this type of galaxies are called fuculent spirals (composed of tufts), due to this and although M63 only has two arms, many seem wrap around its core. The spiral arms of M63 glow with radiation from newly formed blue stars.
M63 is located approximately 27 million light-years from Earth in the constellation Canes Venatici.
