At Los Colores Invisibles, we want to share our passion for astrophotography with everyone. We believe that everyone should be able to access real-world deep-sky data to learn, practice image processing, and, if desired, use the results to create their own content.

Therefore, from now on, all blog subscribers will be able to access a private folder containing the original files captured with one of our telescopes.

We want this to be a useful tool for both beginners and content creators looking for real-world material to work with.

What will you be able to download?

  • Raw FITS files — just as captured by the camera.

  • Darks, Flats, Bias, Lights, and master files — everything you need for a complete rendering, if you want it.

These are the images currently available; more will be added as the captures are completed.

🔐 Rights of use

  • FITS files are property of The Invisible Colors (they may not be freely redistributed).

  • The final processed file you obtain from this data will be your property, and you may use it freely, as long as it is the result of your own processing work.

  • All that is required is to reference www.loscoloresinvisibles.com as the source of the data.

Our capture team

Telescope image for astrophotography
  • Sky-Watcher 200PDS Telescope : 200mm aperture, 1000mm focal length Newtonian reflector. Its fast f/5 design allows for capturing bright, detailed deep-sky objects in shorter exposure times.

  • ZWO ASI533MC Pro camera (cooled) together with the Optolong L-Quad Enhance filter , ideal for enhancing nebulae and minimizing light pollution.

  • NEQ 6 R Pro Equatorial Mount

  • EZG60 ghia tube

  • ZWO ASI 220MM mini Guide Camera

  • ASIair Plus

How to access?

Simply subscribe to the blog and you'll find the link to access the data in the "Downloads" tab, the data is hosted in a Google Drive folder.

The universe is full of colors our eyes can't see, but astrophotography allows us to discover them. With this project, we want to invite you to explore them with us, to process the light that travels millions of years to reach your screen and transform it into something unique.

Subscribe, download the data, and let your creativity and curiosity guide you. Because the sky belongs to everyone…
